Judge Alice Doyle

Alice Doyle was called to the bar in 1986, and devilled with Paul Gallagher SC, in the following years established a successful practice as a Barrister. She was appointed to the Bench in 2004 and was the assigned Judge of the South Eastern Circuit from 2011 until 2024 when she retired from the Bench.

She completed education in both Arbitration and Mediation. In 2001, she received a diploma in Arbitration from University College Dublin and went on to do a fellowship in Arbitration. In 2017, she received a Certificate in Mediation from The Law Society of Ireland. In 2024, in pursuit of continued professional development, she received a certificate in Negotiation from Harvard Law School and completed the CEDR course in Mediation and received the associated certificate.

She currently offers mediation services in commercial, Personal Injuries, Probate, land disputes, Equity and family matters. She is a certified mediator with twenty years of judicial experience and many years practicing as a Barrister.
