Dr. Alastair Moore is an educator, entrepreneur, and investor with a focus on web3 and AI. In 2022 he co-founded a new Web3 venture builder called The Building Blocks.
He is a UCL PhD computer scientist with a track record in early stage tech, having been a co-founder of Satalia.com (sold to WPP).

He was recently Head of Data Analytics and Machine Learning at UK law firm Mishcon de Reya, where his team managed industry-leading projects in data capture and insight across e-discovery, evidence management, external data capture and internal firm-wide intelligence.
Alastair continues to maintain an active teaching role in the UCL School of Management (Applied AI), and HSBC Business School (Technology strategy).

He has served as a member of the Special Group for Entrepreneurship for the British Computer Society and is currently the AI mentor at the Royal Academy of Engineering. He sits on the board of the UKs largest deep tech university accelerator programme, ConceptionX.org and recently co-founded a new AI company Ai8.io working on creating human machine teams.
