Peter Leonard has been a practicing Barrister for the last 20 years and has a particular interest in mediating disputes. He is an accredited CEDR Mediator and his legal specialities include Employment, Defamation and Judicial Review.

Prior to joining the Law library, Peter worked for nine years as a radio and television journalist with RTE covering a range of areas and was the first RTE Journalist to report from New York following 9/11. Prior to that he worked with the Cork Examiner where he primarily covered industrial relations and the arts. He also presented a sports talk show on Setanta TV in the late noughties.

Peter is a regular contributor to national radio programmes and is the co-presenter of the award winning legal podcast “The Fifth Court.”
